My Thai tutor invited us to her house for dinner last night.
Her house damn big!OMG!
It's almost the same size as normal 3 storey houses in Thailand.
3 storeys,5-6 rooms and only 2 persons living in the house.*Faint*
My tutor invited students who have completed Thai5,6.

We were kinda pissed off we them because we heard the Thai 5,6 students saying that they dont wana talk to people who are studying Thai 3 because they THINK we are not as good as them.I almost wanted to slap them on their face!IM SERIOUS!
It's so obvious that we are the ones who are more comfortable in speaking Thai,not them!Shame on them!!Ive seen their writings for my Thai tutor,their writing is kinda shitty,spelling mistakes all over the place.PUI!Perhaps,we are ok.
Just that back then when they were in Thai 3,I bet their Thai is shitty!
So it seemed that their standard is not a lot better than ours.LOL!!
They are evil!!!!

They learned the Thai language but they didnt learn the Thai culture.
They are not kind,they are not willing to share.They suck.
Some of them even have the cheek to ask my tutors if they qualify to teach Thai after they finished Thai 6.
At Thai 6,if they are only slightly better than my friends and I,do you think they even qualify to teach?!?PUI!

I seriously like my batch of friends who are studying Thai 3.
They are so cute!
We have known each other since Thai 1 and some of us will go all the way to Thai 6 together.We have the same vision,we want to be like the Thais,be kind and happy always.We help each other when we dont uderstand the Thai grammar.
We help those friends who are weaker in Thai if they dont uderstand the teacher in class.We werent hesistant to give help when we know that our friends didnt understand the lesson ok!We offer help always!!
Do you think your friends from other modules care and offer help automatically if you dont understand something?!?

Now I know why the bunch of Thai teachers are so close to the Thai 3 batch!

There was a mini celebration at the Thai.temple in Jln.Bukit.Merah for Aacaan.Ravee who is going back to Thai for good in almost a week's time!So Me,P'Wasan,P'Yanquan,P'Nout and another another lao friend went down to join them.
I took mrt to Outram.park and then took a cab down since it was near the mrt but I dont know the exact location of it.The taxi driver chit-chat with me and asked why did I go to the temple and stuff.He pointed to his Thai calendar and asked me whats the words on it.I told him that means Sawatdii-Pii-May which means happy new year and he said Im correct!Initially,I thought he asked me coz he duno!

The temple is so Thai-ed indeed!
I gave my utmost respect to Aacaan.Ciap and Aacaan.Ravee!
They spent half a Sun every week in the temple to give free Thai Lessons to anyone who is interested.How many people will be as kind as them?!

I got back my Thai Mid term writing exam today.
It consisted of a super hard Comprehension+An essay about my life as a student.
Before aacaan gave back the papers,aacaan nuuk was saying that many people didnt write as well as expected.And that she really duno what went wrong.
Hearing this,my heart sank.

And when I got back my paper,I saw this!

I stoned for a few seconds after receiving it!What is this?!!?
Too shocking for me!
I was practically on clouds 9 during the entire tutorial,thinking if the teacher is lenient with me or that Ive really done very well!
Ive got 47 marks for essay and full marks for compre!

Initially,teacher taught us "Gae Phaa" which means the removal of clothes.
So last week,aacaan.ciap told the class "Thor siea" is also the removal of clothes.
Being curious,I asked her whats the diff between the 2 and both teachers broke into laughter in class.What's so funny!!!
Then they explained that "Gae Phaa" means removal of ALL THE CLOTHES,in the state of being naked.
And then "Thot siea" can be removal of only one piece of clothing such as jacket.
How I know ma!!!!Now I know!And I realised that I made a stupid mistake.
When I was in TBA,I asked P'Eve why P'Tao "Gae Phaa" ?!?!?!
She must be thinking that either Im mad or Im blind!HAHAHAHAHAHA!!


I bet the ppl at Crystal.Jade almost wanted to kick us out!
There were 18 of us and we were super rowdy and worst still,we were speaking a language that no one else understands!Some are aacaan's ex-students,some are students from the other classes.But everyone from TA1 came!!So touched!

Actually,I felt kinda attached to my Thai community.
There are only 28 students taking Thai 3 now but I know the bulk of them because some of them are my ex-classmates.
But my Thai 3 class is really different!We were really close with one another and with the teachers too!!We had so much fun together!!!

This is my TA1 class!!!We rocks!!
Although Aacaan.Ravee is going back to Thailand for good,we will visit her the next time we go to Thailand again!!
Anyway,she lives in Bkk,it will be very convenient for me to look her up.Haha!!

I cant wait for Dec to come!
Aacaan.Ciap is going to New.Zealand with her husband for 2 months.And her sister is coming to Singapore for 2 months!Aacaan.Ciap invited us to stay at her house so that we can practise Thai with her sister and at the same time bring her sister out!

Rushed home after school yesterday to pack my stuff and chiong-ed down to Coasta.Sands!Missed my nieces!OMG!

Woke up very early this morning to bring the kids to the children's pool.
I didnt bring along my swimming costume so I just sat at the pool side and stared.
I was dreaming and regained consciousness when I suddenly realised the bulk of the people in the swimming pool are speaking Thai?!?!
For that split second I was wondering if Im in Thai.land.

Saw 3 girls walking towards me and so I grabbed the chance to chat with them.
They are here on exchange program!Only for 7 days!
But they are 70 of them?!?!All staying in Coasta.Sands.LOL!!
They were ranged from 10-13.Young kids!!

After the morning swim,we took a shuttle bus to Downtown.East for Mc breakfast!

We took 6 hours to complete with all the NGs and rehearsal.LOL!!
Great time I had!But it's not comparable to having fun with Yiling and Pui up next.

Met up with Yiling and Pui(my Thai friend,Yiling's Thai junior in JC)in Golden.Mile as Yiling needs to observe Golden.Mile for her S.E.A.report.
Anyway,back to Golden.Mile,perhaps,going there on a Sun is a big mistake.
We should have gone there on a weekday instead.Im serious.
It's not the crowd that scares us.
But its the kind of people there and what they are doing.
We saw You.Fa.hosting for a singing competition over there!LOL!
We were laughing discretely at the participants for their monotonous singing!WAHAHA!!
We didnt stay for too long because the 3 of us especially Pui were afraid and freaked out by the number of Thais scattered all over the building.

That "flower-hearted" Prince.told his 2nd wife that he will give him an official title basing on the condition that she bears him 5 sons and they must be in consecutive order.WHAT?!? !@#$%

Well,天意弄人!She has managed to get 4 consecutive sons but the last child turns out to be a girl.Heard that the 2nd wife is hateful of the last child as she dashed her wonderful dream.The official wife of the.Prince,was worried about this and she took the girl away and helped raise her up in the royal.family.And she is the cutey Princess.in my favouritest Thai.Badminton.Team playing doubles now!
In addition,she is studying fashion as she aspires to be a fashion designer.Hehe!
Well,I am no different from most Thais.
I do hope that the Thai king can live for as long as possible.He is a benevolent ruler,has a place so deep in their hearts.I may not be able to understand their limitless love for himbut I can sense their passion.
It's pretty amazing!Well,let's see what happen when the throne.is passed on in many years time as the Princess.is more well-liked than the Prince.

I'm really proud of her you know?
4 years ago when she came,her English is terok but today,she has made tremendous improvement and Im really impressed.
She makes me feel guilty and ashamed of myself for taking English language for granted for the past few years.As in there isnt a strong motivation for me to self-improve on my English Language proficiency,especially after Ive graduated from JC where English Language isnt made compulsory anymore!*shame on me indeed*
Is this a predominant trend in S'pore for my generation?
Well,Im not sure.Perhaps.

Pui said that my Thai is getting better AND BETTER!Of course!LOL!!
Im secretly hoping that in 2 years time my Thai Language proficiency will be EQUAL to her English Language proficiency.
I will work very hard towards that goal!

It's more of a comedy then an action movie although there are elements of both in it.

During Thai writing tutorial yesterday we watched a movie named "Mon-rak-tran-zi-ter"
,meaning the magical love of a transistor.I almost cried,ALMOST.
I would have cried if Im watching the movie during my freeier times.I was worrying about my Psych Stats tutorial,project during the Thai tutorial so I cant pay 100% attention to the movie.Oops!
It's great that we can finally understand about 65% of the movie now without looking at any subtitles.Where's the other 35%?
30% goes to new words that we have havent learn yet,5% goes to vulgarities which we will never be taught.HAHAHA!!

Going back to the point where I was worried about my Psych stats Laboratory 5 tutorial.I was feeling uneasy because I feel that I didnt really understand the chapter on multiple ways analysis of variance.
It's too................COMPLICATED!
Fortunately,I felt better during the actual tutorial!
As in,I understand the concept better after the tutorial.
By the way,did I tell you guys that my Psych Stats tutor is only 26 years old this year?!Faint!
He is doing his masters in school now.Obviously,he is new to teaching.
When I handed in my homework to him because I dont have time to put it in his mailbox coz I was rushing for lessons,he actually thank me for giving the homework to him.If its for some other tutors,they would have !@#$%^&@#$ me.HAHA!!

My psych stats project group has our experiment proposal endorsed already!
We have been given the green light to carry out our experiment next Friday during Lab!Well,we are trying to find out if Highlighted/Capitalised words do have an effect on Free Recall!That's my virgin experience of an experimenter!

Before I go off for work,Mummy warned me that a male patient would be coming down for dressing today and that the body part to be dressed,is his butt?!?WAHAHA!!
Aunty Cecilia was hesistant about dressing a male's butt therefore Mummy had done dressing for him on 2 occasions already and today's his last appointment with the doctor.LOL!!Mummy was telling me that Aunty Cecilia joked with that male patient saying that Mummy would not be working today and a young girl(me!)would be working instead.
The patient went:"OMG!!I dont want a young girl!So pai seh!"
Aunty Cecilia:"You dont want to help you right?Ok,I'll do it for you then,but I'll ask the doctor to leave the room and I'll climb up(on him!)"WAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Patient:"WHy like that?!?!?!?!I dont want!!"
Mummy:"You want that young girl to do it for you right?You must give ang bao!!"

I was -_-''' when I heard that.2 crazy aunties working in the clinic.

Another funny incident today was when a pmale atient came in to register to visit the doctor and have his health report explained by the doctor.
Usually,the doctor doesnt prescribe any medicine for patients who come to have their health report checked,becoz it's mere checking and explaination of the report.
But that patient came out and doctor passed me a weird medicine that Ive never seen before.
Me:"Aunty Cecilia,why is there medicine for this patient"
Aunty:"Becoz he has some problems!WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!"
Me:"?!?!?!?!!?!??!What is this medicine for then!??!"
Aunty:"He told the doctor that *his one* cannot stand anymore!HAHAHAHAHA!!!"
Me:"CANNOT STAND?!?!?!?!?!?!Oh my goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The doctor gave him 25 pills some more!LOL!!"
Aunty:"Yalor!So old already still want it to stand!WAHAHAHA"

I continued laughing for quite some time.It's really funny!!

Aacaan.Ravee told us on Mon that we,Thai students,should go to Thailand and work for 2-3 years for experience since we are so young.And that the companies will surely accept us since we know Thai!Isnt a bad idea huh?LOL!!
There's one thing I wana learn from the Thais,their "Realness".
Very often,I wanted to say Thank you,sorry,I miss you etc but I wouldnt say it because Im not used to saying all these.
After picking up Thai,I realised that saying sorry isnt that hard after all.

Read Min's blog that day,she said that she doesnt want her knowledge in Korean to be a mere hobby and that she hopes it will be put into good use in future.
Go all the way girl!I totally agree with you!!
I mean,things like leadership skills,concepts etc etc can be picked up along the way when we work in the near future.
But language?!It takes a whole lot of effort to say or write it well and very often,it takes forever to learn a lanaguage well.

Hasnt been doing much these days except completing assignments and assignments.LOL!!
This sem break is still not too bad afterall.
I had some good rest at home and got to meet up with my dearie friends for dinner too!!I have a feeling that this sem is quite hectic for me,exhaustive too.
I shall plan my timetable in a better way the next sem.


I have been awaiting for the arrival of October and it's finally here!!
Yoohooooo!!Having a family chalet next friday to celebrate Guma and Dad's birthday!
Cant wait to meet up with my paternal side relatives especially my cousins and my cutie nieces.
